Shower Pan Waterproofing & Repair in Garden Grove

Infinity Shower Pans provides professional hot mop waterproofing, leaking shower pan repair, shower pan replacement and shower waterproofing services throughout Garden Grove, California. We work with homeowners, contractors, tile installers and remodeling professionals on both new shower construction and repairs to existing shower systems.

Whether you need a new shower pan waterproofed before tile installation or you're dealing with an existing shower leak, our focus is correcting the underlying waterproofing issue and properly preparing the shower before it is finished.

Leaking Shower Pan Repair

A leaking shower can cause damage beyond the area where water first becomes visible. Moisture outside the shower, damaged drywall or baseboards, loose tile, staining or recurring water intrusion can indicate a problem within the shower system.

Because not every shower leak has the same cause, we evaluate the affected area before recommending a repair. When conditions allow, we can remove the necessary shower floor and lower wall tile, expose the failed waterproofing and replace the affected shower pan system while preserving as much of the existing shower as practical.

Shower Pan Replacement

When the existing shower pan has failed and a localized repair isn't the appropriate solution, Infinity Shower Pans can remove and rebuild the affected portion of the shower.

After demolition, the exposed area is inspected and prepared as needed. The shower pan and pre-slope are then properly prepared before a new waterproofing system is installed around critical areas including the drain, curb, corners and perimeter.

The completed shower pan can be water tested before the remaining shower preparation and tile work moves forward. When included in the project, we can also prepare the repaired area for tile, install replacement tile and complete the grout work.

Hot Mop Shower Pan Waterproofing

Hot mop waterproofing is one of our primary specialties. We install hot mop systems for new showers, remodels and shower pan replacements throughout Garden Grove.

The system uses reinforced layers of asphalt-saturated felt and hot asphalt to create a continuous waterproof membrane beneath the finished shower. Proper preparation, pre-slope and waterproofing around the drain, curb, corners and perimeter are critical before the shower gets covered by tile.

Hot Mop Services for Contractors & Tile Installers

We also work directly with contractors, tile installers and remodeling professionals who need a dedicated waterproofing specialist for their Garden Grove projects.

If a shower is properly prepared and ready for waterproofing, Infinity Shower Pans can complete the hot mop shower pan system so the project can continue toward the remaining preparation and tile installation.

Shower Repair & Rebuilding

When a failed shower pan requires more than waterproofing alone, we can evaluate the affected shower and determine the appropriate repair scope.

Depending on the existing conditions, this may involve rebuilding the lower portion of the shower or completing a more extensive repair. Our goal is to remove what is necessary to correct the problem while preserving portions of the existing shower that can reasonably remain.

Balcony & Deck Waterproofing

Infinity Shower Pans also provides residential balcony and deck waterproofing in Garden Grove and surrounding Orange County communities. Exterior waterproofing projects are evaluated based on the existing substrate, slope and drainage, perimeter transitions, flashing conditions, door thresholds and other areas where water intrusion may occur.
