Shower Pan Replacement

When a shower pan has failed and a simple repair isn't the right solution, Infinity Shower Pans can replace and rebuild the affected shower area from start to finish. Signs of a failed shower pan may include recurring leaks, water damage, loose or cracked tile, moisture outside the shower, or deterioration beneath the shower floor.

When conditions allow, we carefully remove the shower door, shower floor and necessary lower rows of wall tile to expose the existing pan while preserving as much of the existing shower as practical. The failed shower pan and waterproofing are removed, the exposed area is inspected, and the shower pan structure is repaired or prepared as needed.

We then prepare the shower pan and pre-slope and install a new hot mop waterproofing system around the floor, curb, drain and perimeter. Once completed, the new shower pan can be water tested before moving forward with the rebuild.

After the waterproofing has been tested, we prepare the shower for tile, install the new tile and complete the grout work. From demolition through the final grout, we manage the entire shower pan replacement so you don't have to coordinate multiple contractors.
